For years, the work happened in whispered conversations, in the quiet between sessions, in the almost imperceptible moment a woman realised she had not been broken — only translated into the wrong tongue.
The House was eventually composed to hold that recognition. To give it rooms. To give it ritual. To give it form elegant enough to be worn in public, and intimate enough to be carried in private.
